The workshops is intended for delegates who deal with challenging behaviour on a daily-basis, or are passionate about a career in supporting individuals that present challenging behaviour. Domestic, or commercial settings will all be explored.

Our course enables you to have awareness and understanding of the reasons why a person may present challenging behaviour.
We share ways of assessing what behaviour is being presented and explore a range of tactics, methods and approaches to support the person that can reduce challenging behaviour with short and long term strategies.

Following completion participants will:
Understand different types of challenging behaviour and the impact it has on the individual and others
Have an underpinning knowledge of how to assess behaviour and have the resources to investigate a variety of methods that may help to reduce the challenging behaviour

There is no formal assessment, however the course will finish with a Q&A session.
